We are excited to announce the official launch of the Brick Factory, a new digital agency founded by former employees of The Bivings Group.  The details are summarized in the announcement below.

As we reach this milestone, we owe a debt of gratitude to a bunch of people.  The last few months have been challenging and exhilarating.  Lots of ups and downs.  The one constant has been the support of friends, family, clients and co-workers, past and present. We’re humbled and could not be more grateful.

Company Sold to Longtime Employee

We are pleased to announce the launch of The Brick Factory, a new digital agency run by former employees of The Bivings Group.

The assets of The Bivings Group, Inc. have been acquired by longtime employee Todd Zeigler, from Gary Bivings and Isabelle Blanco, who founded the firm in 1995 and grew it into the multi-disciplined digital communications company it is today. The new name, The Brick Factory, has been the nickname for firm’s website design and production department.

“I’m extremely proud of the groundbreaking work we’ve done at The Bivings Group these last fifteen years,” said F. Gary Bivings, Founder and President of The Bivings Group. “I have full confidence in Todd and the great team he has around him, and I’m looking forward to watching them build on the firm’s legacy.”

The Bivings Group was launched initially as a traditional communications consulting firm, but as the Internet started to reshape the industry and the media landscape the company began to focus exclusively on digital and social communications programs for clients. The Bivings Group was an early pioneer in using the Internet as a platform and channel for managing policy issues and running advocacy campaigns to support government affairs programs.

Over the past 15 years The Bivings Group created several new applications and technology based products to serve clients, including ImpactWatch, a custom solution for tracking media and online coverage of issues used by several Fortune 500 companies and a number of large trade associations.

Todd Zeigler served as Senior Vice President of Client Services at The Bivings Group for more than twelve years, and will be Chief Executive Officer of the Brick Factory.

“I’m proud to be taking over the reins from Gary and Isabelle,” said Todd. “We have a great team and a wonderful roster of clients in place. I’m looking forward to building on the strong foundation Gary and Isabelle have worked so hard to establish.”

Todd develops ambitious online advocacy programs, manages crises, implements online marketing strategies, and develops custom applications and software. He is bad at golf though.
